A weather warning for thunderstorms across Herefordshire has been issued by the Met Office for tonight.
It's expected to be the hottest day of the year across the county, with temperatures reaching 32°C.
The Met Office said scattered thunderstorms will move north tonight and early Wednesday could lead to some power cuts and travel delays, across the UK.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "Scattered thunderstorms are expected to affect parts of south-west and southern England this evening, moving north quickly across the UK overnight, clearing Scotland and eastern England by mid-morning on Wednesday.
"Although some places will miss the thunderstorms altogether, where they do occur there is the potential for frequent lightning, hail and gusty winds, as well as sudden downpours in a few places."
The yellow weather warning is in place from 6pm this evening to 9am on Wednesday morning.
Currently MeteoGroup forecast thunderstorms between 10pm and 3am in Hereford.
