FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in the basement of a house near Hereford yesterday evening.
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called shortly after 6pm on Thursday, with a crew from Leintwardine sent to the house in Callow while travelling back from a fire at Upton Marina.
The fire was extinguished using two main jets, a covering jet and breathing apparatus wearers.
Crews from Hereford, Ewyas Harold and Peterchurch also attended.
