A MAN was rescued from the River Wye in Hereford last night.
Emergency services were called to reports of a man in difficulties at the scene near Hampton Park Road at around 5.50pm last night.
Firefighters launched a boat to rescue the man from water near the sewage works on Outfall Works Road.
An ambulance service spokesperson said the man was successfully rescued from the water, but refused treatment from paramedics.
