A NEW website has been launched to make it easier to find information about Herefordshire's people and places.

Maintained by Herefordshire Council's 'Intelligence Team', the new site provides information on factors that affect health and well-being including population numbers, lifestyle choices, the economy and the environment.

'Understanding Herefordshire' replaces the old 'Facts and Figures about Herefordshire' website, and aims to make it easier to find fact and figures about a topic or place.

It also offers a number of new features, including a ‘quick facts’ function, a news page and an interactive map where you can download area profiles providing local level statistics for Herefordshire.

"The data held on the site is useful for anyone needing to complete funding bids, business plans, strategies and school projects," a council spokesperson said.
