FIREFIGHTERS tackled a baler which caught fire near Bromyard on Monday.
A farmer who was working near Edvin Loach, north of the town, could smell something was getting hot so drove into a different field.
He was unable to unhook the tractor from the machinery before it completely caught fire, the crew from Bromyard said.
A fire crew from Tenbury also attended after being called shortly after 2pm, and a hosereel jet was used to put the blaze out.
There were no casualties and crews left the scene before 4pm.
