ON Monday, August 19, New Radnor Group Vicar, Rev Mark Beaton, completed a 10 hour sing!
The songs included spirituals, folk songs, parlour songs, songs from the shows, hymns, and more.
There were approximately 200 songs in all and the event took place in St Mary's Church, New Radnor, 8am to 6pm.
Mark's sponsored sing raised money for his five churches, Colva, Evancoyd, Gladestry, Lanfihangel Nant Melan and New Radnor.
Each type of song was given a half hour slot and advertised beforehand in The Radnor Church Magazine, there was something for everyone.
The appreciative audiences wandered in and out at leisure; a lovely way to spend a Monday.Rev Mark Beaton
