A DRIVER was trapped in his car after being involved in a crash with a lorry in north Herefordshire.
The A4113 was closed for a time both ways at Leintwardine, with the driver taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be serious.
Pictures released by the fire service today show the violent extent of the crash.
West Midlands Ambulance Service were called by the police shortly after midday yesterday (Tuesday) close to the junction with Rosemary Lane.

One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended, and the driver of the car was cut free by the fire service before being taken to Hereford County Hospital.
The lorry driver was not injured, said a spokesperson for the ambulance service.

It is not known at this stage if speed was a factor in the Leintwardine crash.
