A DEVELOPER has submitted plans for a new housing estate on the edge of a village to the north of Herefordshire.
Bell Homes are seeking permission to build 24 new homes on a former orchard fronting on to the C1125 in Sutton St Nicholas.
Plans for the 1.72 hectares of currently undeveloped pasture land, located on the southern edge of the village next to Woodville Grove, include a mix of one, two, three and four bedroomed homes.
If the application is successful, there will also be eight 'affordable homes'.
The application design and access statement said the application site had been allocated for residential development by the Sutton St Nicholas neighbourhood development plan made on March 8 2017.
