TEMPORARY traffic lights will remain on a busy Herefordshire main road after an inspection found serious flood damage.
Flood water has eroded the substructure of the B4399 Holme Lacy causeway, in parts extremely close to the white line.
A spokesperson for Herefordshire Council and Balfour Beatty Living Places said traffic delays are inevitable next week at peak times as schools return from half-term.
The lights will be in operation for at least a week while emergency repairs are carried out.
