HEREFORD Police Choir's chosen charity this year is the Alzheimer's Society and a donation for £1250 was presented by the chairman, Ray Williams to David Pearson from the society, at a recent choir practice in Hereford Shirehall.
The choir perform many concerts throughout the year raising money for charity.
This year the choir have again performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London and in September visited Cornwall to sing with the Marazion Male Voice Choir.
On December 10 the choir are performing an evening of songs and carols at Hereford Crematorium also in aid of the Alzheimer's Society.
The ticket price will include a drink and a mince pie. The concert starts at 7.15pm and tickets are available from Hereford Crematorium on 01432 383200.
On December 17 the choir will be performing at the Army Benevolent Fund Concert in Hereford Cathedral joining other choirs and orchestra which promises to be a wonderful evening of festive music in a truly magnificent setting.
Tickets are available from the Cathedral or the Courtyard.
