The Welsh Liberal Democrat Leader Jane Dodds has lost Brecon and Radnorshire to the Conservatives, becoming one of the shortest serving MPs in recent political history.
Faye Jones won the seat with 21,958 votes, with Jane Dodds receiving 14,827 votes. This makes her the joint-first Welsh female Conservative MP.

Ms Jones said that at times this election has been “difficult and divisive” but that the candidates have been “kind, courteous and a pleasure to work with”.

Tom Davies - Labour: 3,944
Jeff Green - Christian: 245
