POLICE had a busy day on Herefordshire's roads on Sunday, with officers stopping drivers for a number of offences through the day.
The driver of this Mini was arrested for a drug-driving offence on Widemarsh Street in Hereford.
And another driver was stopped on West Street after officers became concerned about their driving.
"We appreciate there is a lot going on in the world, however going straight through a red light and narrowly avoiding a head on collision will result in a traffic offence report," Herefordshire's Operations Patrol Unit said.
It wasn't long before the team were again taking another driver into custody, with the driver of this Ford Fiesta failing a roadside drug wipe test, which showed they were positive for cannabis.
And the stops continued into the night, with South-West Mercia's Local Policing Priority Team out in force to support Hereford's officers with rural crime patrols.
Two people were taken into custody on suspicion of going equipped to steal, possession of drugs, and drug-driving after they were stopped by the team in Herefordshire.
