THREE new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Herefordshire, with the rate of the increase higher than the rest of the country.
Public Health England figures show that 459 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am Wednesday morning (June 10) in Herefordshire, up from 456 the same time on Tuesday. A week before, there were 445 cases.
It means cases have increased by 1% over the last 24 hours, higher than the rate of increase across the UK of 0.3%.

They were among the 26,005 cases recorded across the midlands, a figure which rose by 24 over the period.
Cumulative case counts include patients who are currently unwell, have recovered and those that have died.
Across the UK, 290,143 people had tested positive for coronavirus as of 9am on Wednesday, up from 289,140 at the same point on Tuesday, Department of Health and Social Care figures show. As of 5pm on Tuesday, 41,128 people had died.
