Torrential rain during a thunder storm that passed over Herefordshire earlier affected roads in the county.
The A44 Bromyard to Bredenbury Road was closed by flash flooding, and there was standing water on the A465 at Nethercourt Cottages, near Stoke Lacy.
More wet weather is expected tomorrow, and the Met Office has issued another a yellow warning for thunderstorms.
A yellow warning means:
- Flooding of homes and businesses could happen quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds.
- Spray and sudden flooding may lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
- Some communities might become cut off if roads flood
- There might be power cuts and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost
The storms are expected to reach Herefordshire between noon and 2pm tomorrow.
The weather will remain unsettled on Thursday possibly with more thundery rain.
It will be drier on Friday and Saturday.
