FIREFIGHTERS were called out after reports of an explosion were made in a Hereford residential street.
A crew from Hereford Fire Station were called to Westholme Road, where residents had reported hearing the noise just before 12pm yesterday.
The incident was found to involve an electrical substation on the road and was handed over to engineers from Western Power Distribution.
