TWO motorcyclists were caught travelling at 127 miles per hour just over the border in Brecon at the weekend.
The riders were among a number of road users stopped for excessive speeding, as police were out and about conducting speed checks on the roads following concerns from residents.
Officers also stopped an Aston Martin, which was travelling at 98 miles per hour and a Ford Focus RS at 96 miles per hour.
The operation also saw police dealing with a number of numberplate offences, with officers warning non-standard plates are not acceptable.
