A PAEDOPHILE has been jailed after installing secret cameras in other people's homes.
Genival Selvoni, of Grandison Rise, Tupsley, Hereford, also sexually abused two girls and appeared via video link from prison on Monday (August 17) for sentencing after pleading guilty to the offences.
Judge Nicolas Cartwright sentenced him to four months in prison for the sexual assault of a girl under 13 by touching, told him to pay a £120 victim surcharge and sign the sex offenders register for 10 years.
For recording a person doing a private act the judge jailed him for four months, and eight months for three counts of making an indecent photograph.
The court said sentences will run concurrently.
In a second case also heard by Worcester Crown Court, Selvoni, 44, was jailed for a total of 10 months after pleading guilty to other offences, including another count of sexually assaulting a girl under 13 by touching.
Offences included recording a person doing a private act, two counts of installing equipment, or constructing or adapting a structure to record a private act, and one count of making an indecent photograph.
