AT first glance this appears to be a pleasant, but unremarkable picture of a family enjoying an evening walk.

But look more carefully at that sunset. Isn't that a flaming angel with outstretched wings and a halo peering over the hilltop?

Catherine Robinson, who lives at Dinmore, near Leominster, took the picture with her mobile phone, and was astonished when she later examined it.

She says the photo was not manipulated using computer software.

"We were having an evening stroll around Bodenham Lake nature reserve, and I just thought it was a nice sunset.

"I didn't even notice the angel: it was my mother-in-law who pointed it out.

"It happened on every photo I took with my phone (five in total), but not on my husband's iPhone."
