A WOMAN has been ordered to pay compensation after stealing clothes from another person.
Amanda Jane Peacey, of Hinton Crescent, Hereford, admitted the offence when she appeared before magistrates in Hereford on October 1.
The court heard Peacey had stolen clothing worth £500 between June 30 and August 1.
The 50-year-old was discharged conditionally for two years and ordered to pay compensation of £500.
She must pay costs of £200 and a £21 victim surcharge.
