Hereford Cathedral School has today been notified that there has been a confirmed positive case of Covid-19 within the Junior School.
Headmaster, Mr Paul Smith, said “Unfortunately, we have been notified this morning of a confirmed case within our Reception bubble and therefore, these pupils will be required to self-isolate for a period of time, as calculated by PHE.

“We are working closely with the Department for Education as we continue to prioritise the safety and well-being of our school community. I am pleased to say that as a result of the measures we have put in place to minimise the mixing of pupils, we are advised that it is highly unlikely that pupils in other year groups will have come into close contact with the affected individual.”
The school remains open for all other pupils as usual.
