A FLYTIPPER has been fined after dumping business waste in the countryside.
Shane Thomas Allard, of St Martin's Street, Hereford, entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates on October 13.
The court heard Allard had dumped controlled waste belonging to Shane Allard Upholstery at the entrance of a public bridleway running through Broadmeadow Farm near Belmont on April 10.
The rubbish, which included black sacks, cardboard and other materials was then set on fire.
The 33-year-old was fined £1,100 and must pay costs of £763.35 and a £110 victim surcharge.
