A MAN has been banned from the roads after he was caught drink-driving on a busy Herefordshire street.
Peter Phillip Whyberd admitted drink-driving when he appeared at Hereford Magistrates Court on October 21.
Magistrates heard Whyberd had been caught driving his Volvo on Station Street in Ross-on-Wye while over the limit on September 9.
An evidential breath test revealed the 53-year-old had 51 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. the legal limit is 35.
Whyberd, of Symonds Yat Rock, Coleford, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £250. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £34 victim surcharge.
