A MAN has been banned from the roads after he was caught drug-driving in Hereford.
Timothy Leslie Douglas Filsell admitted drug-driving and possessing the class B drug when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster on October 28.
The court heard Filsell had been caught behind the wheel of a Volkswagen Polo while over the drug limit on the A49 Holmer Road in Hereford on January 31.
An evidential blood test revealed he had 15 microgrammes of cannabis metabolite delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood. The legal limit is two.
The 42-year-old was also found to be carrying a quantity of cannabis on the same date.
Filsell, of Neswick Street, Plymouth, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £120. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £32 victim surcharge.
The cannabis was ordered to be forfeited and destroyed.
