SAXON Hall in Hereford is understood to be one of the possible local Covid-19 vaccination centres being considered by NHS bosses.
A source close to the community centre in Putson said it was among the sites being considered.
However, a spokesman from NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire clinical commissioning group said they were not yet able to confirm any specific vaccination sites.
The BBC reported last month that two mass vaccination centres are expected to be created in Herefordshire A spokesperson for NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire CCG said: “We do not yet have a vaccine or know exactly how the potential vaccines will need to be stored and distributed, so extensive planning is underway for a number of different scenarios locally as we await final decisions by regulators at the MHRA and the JVCI.
“As a result, we’re not yet in a position to confirm plans but when the time comes the NHS will be ready to deliver vaccinations in every community.”
