THE number of people in hospital in Herefordshire with coronavirus has risen to 27, the latest NHS England figures show.
The data revealed the Wye Valley NHS Trust was caring for 27 coronavirus patients in hospital as of Tuesday (November 24), one more than at the start of the month.
It also shows that the number of people being treated in hospital for Covid-19 by 8am on November 24 was up from 21 on the same day the previous week.
At the Wye Valley NHS Trust there was one person on a mechanical ventilator as of November 24. That number had fallen by two over the week.
The figures also show that 14 new Covid-19 patients were admitted to hospital in Wye Valley NHS Trust in the week to November 22. This was up from 12 in the previous seven days.
Two of the people admitted were admitted with Covid-19 from care homes, the same number as the week before.
