A MAN has been handed a prison sentence after punching a prison officer and attacking a police officer.
James Bagley entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster on November 24.
The court heard Bagley assaulted a police custody sergeant acting in the course of his duties by beating in Hereford on March 23.

The 30-year-old also admitted punching a prison officer at HMP Hewell on March 27, causing the officer injuries that needed hospital treatment.
Bagley, who is of no fixed address, was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison, to run consecutively to his current prison term, and must pay costs of £122.
