Flooding
HEAVY rain has caused localised flooding on roads across Herefordshire this evening.
The Highways Agency has said that the following roads are closed due to the floods:
- A449 Much Marcle
- B4347 Ewyas Harold
- A465 Wormbridge
- M50 westbound
- B4203 Broad Bridge, Bromyard
The M50 has been closed westbound between junction eight, the M50 link, and junction three for Newent.
Highways England state that the flooding is due to ‘severe flooding’.
“Please plan your route accordingly,” say Highways England who advise motorists to follow their Twitter feed @HighwaysWMIDS for further updates.
Some other roads are almost impassable in some vehicles.
