OVER 150 care home residents from five nursing and residential homes have received their Covid-19 vaccination from a visiting team including clinicians
Hereford Medical Group said that those vaccinated were registered with them.
"After a fantastic effort the teams managed to visit five homes and vaccinate over 150 residents and some staff, thereby providing the protection of the vaccine to some of our most vulnerable patients," said Herefordshire Council on their Facebook page.
"We will have more teams out today to visit another three homes and we would like to thank everyone for lending their time in the week between Christmas and New Year to undertake this important service."
The council added that the teams include at least three clinicians and they are asking all patients to bear this in mind when contacting the practice for an appointment on Wednesday and to only ask to speak to a clinician if it is something that cannot wait until another day.
