A DRUG-DRIVER who was twice caught on the roads while over the limit has been banned.
Jack Thomas Gibbs entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard Gibbs had been caught behind the wheel of a Volkswagen Golf on Yazor Road on June 6 while over the drug limit.
An evidential test revealed the 25-year-old had seven microgrammes of cannabis metabolite delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol and 200 microgrammes of cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine per litre of blood. the respective legal limits are two and 50.
Gibbs was further caught driving while over the limit in Millpond Street, Ross-on-Wye on July 16.
Tests revealed he had seven microgrammes of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood.
Gibbs, of Burton Wood, Weobley, was disqualified from driving for two years and fined £120. He must also pay a £36 victim surcharge. No costs order was made due to a lack of means.
