A DRUG-driver has been banned from the roads after he was caught four times on busy roads in Hereford.
Aaron James Gallagher entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford on January 6.
The court heard Gallagher had been driving a Citroen Berlingo in Belmont Road when he was stopped on May 29.
An evidential test revealed the 37-year-old had 148 microgrammes of cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine per litre of blood. The legal limit is 50.
Gallagher was again caught driving in Union Walk while over the limit on July 11, when tests revealed he had 574 microgrammes of benzoylecgonine and 30 microgrammes of cocaine per litre of blood.
The legal limit for cocaine is 10 microgrammes.

He was later stopped in Bodenham Road with 474 microgrammes of benzoylecgonine and 34 microgrammes of cocaine per litre of blood on August 4, and was further caught in Ross Road on September 20, this time with 200 microgrammes of benzoylecgonine per litre of blood.
Gallagher, of Judges Close, Hereford, was handed a 12 month community order and disqualified from driving for 24 months. He was also fined £120 and must pay costs of £135 and a £95 victim surcharge.
