A TESCO store in Hereford has confirmed some staff members have tested positive for coronavirus.
It is not believed the cases are as a result of transmission in the store, but Tesco said it was following all Government guidance and was taking "relevant precautions".
The chain, which has a number of supermarkets and convenience stores across the county, said "a very small number" of coronavirus cases had been confirmed in its Belmont store in the last two weeks.
A spokesperson for Tesco said: “A very small number of colleagues at our Hereford, Abbotsmead Road Superstore have tested positive for Covid-19.
"Their close contacts have been informed.
"The safety of our colleagues, customers and suppliers remains our number one priority and we are working with local public health authorities, following all Government guidance and taking the relevant precautions.
"We have extensive measures across all of our stores to help keep everyone safe, including protective screens at every checkout, social distancing signage and regular cleaning.”
