A NEW on-demand food delivery company has launched in Hereford, offering delivery services to those miles from the city.
Shropshire-based company Zoom 1hr Delivery have continued their expansion across Wales and bordering English counties with the official launch of their sub-one hour delivery service in Hereford on January 27.
Zoom 1hr has partnered with food outlets including Co-op, McDonald’s, along with independent businesses such as Legges and No.9 The Balcony, to be delivered within an 8-mile radius.
To celebrate the service’s launch in the area, Zoom 1hr Delivery are running a number of promotions and competitions for customers to enter through their social media pages in the coming weeks.
Kevin Williams, Managing Director at Zoom 1hr Delivery, said: "Launching in Hereford is a key milestone for us on our mission to becoming the UK’s hyperlocal, last mile delivery service.
“Hereford has a thriving foodie community and a wide range of restaurants. We feel it’s important to support them during this challenging time as well as being able to service communities in more rural locations that wouldn’t have had access to this type of delivery service before now.
“It is also fantastic to deliver on behalf of Co-op in the Hereford area, and we are proud to have an average delivery time for Co-op customers of just 20 minutes.
“We hope Hereford’s residents enjoy our fast delivery of fine cuisine, fast food, and drinks, whilst keeping safe at home. All they need to do is download our app or head to www.zoom-food.co.uk to order.”
