THERE are plans to build five homes in a village near Ross-on-Wye.
Joan Townsend has submitted new plans to Herefordshire Council to develop land south of Upton Crews.
A similar scheme at the site was previously refused permission because adequate drainage arrangements were not demonstrated.
Council officers said at the time that the plans complied with planning regulations in all other respects.
This new proposal includes an amended drainage scheme and has been designed in concert with the council’s drainage engineer.
The scheme includes a mixture of four bedroom and three-bedroom houses.
And consultants working on the scheme say the development would provide much needed housing for the area.
People have until February 26 to comment on the proposals which council planners are expected to consider by March 11.
