DEVELOPERS want to build five homes on the outskirts of Ross-on-Wye.
Villamil Properties Ltd has submitted plans to build on land at Chasewood Meadow in Fernbank Road.
The plans for the just under two-acre site include three four-bed dormer bungalows along with a three-bed bungalow and a two bed.
Architects working on the scheme say the proposed homes will have a traditional and simple profile complemented by traditional cladding materials.

“The proposal is for five dwellings on the edge of a market town,” the planning statement reads.
“The site is indented into the existing suburban fringe of the town and is screened from long range views by rising and densely wooded land.
“The proposal therefore has a small scale, is of an appropriate nature for its setting, and is unlikely to cause significant adverse impact whereby it could not be described as major development in the area of outstanding natural beauty.”
Residents have until March 18 to comment on the proposals which are expected to be considered by Herefordshire Council by March 24.
