A MAN was caught carrying a pepper spray-type weapon in Hereford, a court has heard.
Stacy Brian Hogg admitted the offence when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 43-year-old had been caught carrying a weapon designed to discharge noxious liquids such as pepper sprays Capsaicin, dihydrocapsaicin, and PAVA, contrary to the Firearms Act, in Hereford on July 9.
Hogg, of Merestone Road, Hereford, was fined £120, and must pay costs of £135 and a £34 victim surcharge.
The weapon was ordered to be forfeited and destroyed.
