A MAN attacked a police officer and failed to give a blood sample to police, a court has heard.
Alasdair James Daniel Holbourn entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard Holbourn had failed to provide a blood sample for testing when suspected of driving a vehicle in Hereford on January 4.
The 31-year-old had also assaulted a police officer by beating on the same day.
Holbourn, of Eign Street, Hereford, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined a total of £383. He must also pay compensation of £100 to the police officer, costs of £134, and a £38 victim surcharge.
