THE number of recorded coronavirus cases in Herefordshire increased by eight in the last 24 hours, official figures show.
Public Health England figures show that 6,755 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am on Wednesday (March 17) in Herefordshire, up from 6,747 the same time on Tuesday.
Over the last seven days the Government's coronavirus dashboard shows 57 new cases have been found in Herefordshire - a rate of 29.6 per 100,000 population.
Across the UK, the number of recorded cases increased by 5,758 over the period, to 4,274,579.

Cumulative case counts include patients who are currently unwell, have recovered and those that have died.
