A HOUSE near the river Wye in Herefordshire has hit the market this week, boasting six bedrooms, high ceilings and a secluded garden.
The aptly-named "Great Barn" was converted into a house in 2014, but dates from the 1850s, agents Knight Frank say.
They describe the house is Eaton Bishop, near Hereford, as an exceptionally spacious home with high spec contemporary fittings.
It was put on the market this week with a guide price of £1.1million.
The house is in the quiet hamlet overlooking open countryside, and occupies a rural and yet very convenient location about six miles from the city of Hereford.
The stylish and practical accommodation, arranged over two storeys, amounts to well over 5,000 sq. ft.
"With high ceilings, a double height reception hallway, underfloor heating and some fascinating architectural details," the agents say.
"The impressive kitchen has a 13ft island unit and features exposed stonework and carved ceiling timbers.
"The ground floor study and bedrooms three and four could easily be separated from the house to form a self-contained annex."
"There are private front and rear gardens, a brick built, detached garage and further parking on the tarmac driveway.
"Offered for sale with no onward chain."
In total there are six bedrooms, four reception rooms, and five bathrooms.
