A HEREFORD man spent Christmas behind bars after being recalled to prison over an abusive incident at a Hereford supermarket.
Zac Dylan Jones entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
Police were called to reports of abusive and threatening behaviour being directed at staff at Hereford's Sainsbury's supermarket at 10.50am on November 27, prosecutor Mark Hambling said.
Officers tried to detain Jones, but when they tried to take his arms he pulled away, preventing them from cuffing him, and shouted obscenities at them while making as if to grab one of the officers.

In interview, Jones said he had not assaulted the officers or attempted to place an officer in a headlock.
Phillip Cornell, for Jones, said the 20-year-old fully admitted what had happened later on at the police station.
"He admitted he was being resistant towards them," Mr Cornell said.
"He said he was not told why he was being placed in handcuffs and that he had not tried to put an officer in a headlock.
"What happened at Sainsbury's was pretty awful and he was in fact recalled to prison and spent Christmas in custody as he was on licence at the time."
The court heard Jones is not currently working, but is carrying out a training course to allow him to work in the building industry.
Jones, who is of no fixed address, was fined £80. He must also pay costs of £40 and a £34 victim surcharge.
