A MAIN road in Hereford was closed for hours after a milk lorry caught fire.
Emergency services closed the A465 Aylestone Hill, near the colleges, for almost three hours on Tuesday (March 21) to tackle the Bartonsham Farm Dairy lorry fire.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service was called at 12.24pm, and sent three crews from Hereford and Fownhope.

They used breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to put the fire out, before using a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots.
West Midlands Ambulance Service and West Mercia Police was also called, but it is not believed anyone was injured.
