A DRUNK man threatened to knock police out after they were called to his home three times in one evening.
Joshua David Newbury admitted being drunk and disorderly when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
Police had been called to noise complaints at Newbury's home three times on March 23, prosecutor Mark Hambling said.
Newbury, who was reported to have been kicking doors and shouting, was told to be quiet, but carried on, slurring his words and becoming abusive.
When police tried to put handcuffs on the 28-year-old, he started struggling and shouting "do you want some," and "I'll knock you out."

Speaking on his own behalf, Newbury said he had been accompanied by his ex-girlfriend and some of her friends that day.
"They were drunk and banging and shouting and making noise," he said.
"The neighbour below really hates me and has called police on me before. I was a bit merry because I had two glasses of vodka, but I remember walking up the street and the police grabbed me and put me on the floor."
Magistrates said the offence was aggravated as police had been called to the home three times in one evening.
Newbury, of Longmeadow, Hereford, was fined £80. He must also pay costs of £85 and a £34 victim surcharge.
