A POLICE car crashed outside the SAS camp near Hereford when it was responding to an "urgent incident", West Mercia Police has said.
The police car was involved in a crash with a car driven by a member of the public on the A480 at Credenhill, north of Hereford, on Wednesday evening.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said it was called at 6.10pm by police to the crash, which a spokesperson said left three people, from two vehicles, with minor injuries.
West Mercia Police has since said no one in the other car was injured.
They said the police car, with its lights and sirens on, was responding to an urgent incident in Herefordshire when the crash happened.

"At just after 6pm the police car was involved in a collision with a car driven by a member of the public," a spokesperson said.
"The occupants inside the vehicle were uninjured.
"The officers in the police car received minor injuries. The road was closed while investigation work was carried out and the vehicles removed."
The crash has been referred to the Professional Standards Department at West Mercia Police.
The spokesperson said this is "normal practice" when police are involved in a collision such as this.
