A MAN has appeared before magistrates after becoming threatening and abusive towards police.
Keith Ernest Pritchard entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford on April 28.
The court heard the 54-year-old had used threatening, abusive, or insulting words and behaviour towards two police officers with intent to cause them to believe unlawful violence would be used against them in Hope-under-Dinmore on April 11.
Pritchard, of Hope-under-Dinmore, Herefordshire, was conditionally discharged for 12 months. He must pay costs of £135 and a £34 victim surcharge.
