During the Covid pandemic, Hopes of Longtown went above and beyond for their local community. A personal shopping facility was established, allowing local customers to phone orders in, pay over the phone and have shopping either collected or delivered, enabling local people who may have been shielding to shop safely. This provision carries on in 2021 and has been well received by the local community.
Owner Christine Hope said: "We are thrilled to be listed in this line up of fantastic stores (find the full list here)! It’s great recognition for our hardworking and dedicated team who are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that we offer our loyal customers the very best customer service! We would also like to extend our gratitude to our incredible local suppliers for their continued support."
