A WOMAN has died after a crash involving a van and a pedestrian in a Herefordshire village.
An ambulance service spokesperson said crews were called to reports of a crash involving a pedestrian in Dovecotts, Mansel Lacy, at 3.48pm on May 6.
"We sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham to the scene," the spokesperson said.
"Crews arrived to find a woman in a critical condition with bystander CPR already in progress.
"Crews took over treatment and administered advanced trauma care to the patient.
"Sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts nothing could be done to save the woman and she was confirmed dead at the scene.”
