POLICE are continuing to search for a body at a cafe in Gloucester linked to the case of a missing teenager who was feared killed by Herefordshire-born murderer Fred West.
Gloucestershire Police said they had found evidence that a body could be buried within The Clean Plate café in Southgate Street, Gloucester, and are linking it to the disappearance of 15-year-old Mary Bastholm.
Mary was reported missing on January 6 1968, last seen waiting for a bus to go and see her boyfriend and has never been found.

It is thought that she was offered a lift by Fred West and then murdered.
Her parents have since tragically passed away without ever finding out what happened to their daughter.
Serial killer West, who died in prison in 1995 aged 53, was previously suspected over her disappearance.
Fred West, with the help of his wife Rose, murdered at least 12 women between 1967 and 1987.

Most of the young women were raped and tortured before their death, the couple would bury their victims remains in the cellar at their Gloucester home.
Fred was arrested for his crimes in 1994, seven years after his killing spree ended, some of whom were his own family.
Here are his 12 confirmed victims.
1967: Ann McFall
The Scottish nanny and lover of Fred, who was eight months pregnant with his child. Body found in Letterbox Field, near his childhood home in Much Marcle.
1970: Rena Costello
The body of Fred's first wife was found in Fingerpost Field, near Much Marcle where he grew up.
1972: Charmaine West
The body of Rena's eldest child, aged eight, was found beneath 25 Midland Road, Gloucester
1973: Linda Gough
The body of the 21-year-old Gloucester seamstress was found beneath the West's home at 25 Cromwell Street.
1973: Lucy Partington
Lucy was aged 21 and a university student from Gloucestershire. Her body was also found beneath 25 Cromwell Street.
1974: Carol Cooper
The body of the 15-year-old Worcester schoolgirl was also found beneath 25 Cromwell Street.
1975: Juanita Mott
Juanita was aged 19 from Newent in Gloucestershire. Her body was also found beneath 25 Cromwell Street.
1975: Shirley Hubbard
Shirley was a 15-year-old schoolgirl from Droitwich and was another victim found beneath 25 Cromwell Street.
1977: Therese Siegenthaler
The 21-year-old Swiss hitchhiker was also buried beneath 25 Cromwell Street.
1977: Alison Chambers
The 17-year-old, originally from Swansea, was buried in the garden of 25 Cromwell Street.
1978: Shirley Robinson
Shirley, 18, was Fred's heavily pregnant lodger. Her body was found in the garden of 25 Cromwell Street.
1987: Heather West
Fred and Rose's eldest daughter, was killed when she was 16.
Her body was found in garden of 25 Cromwell Street.
