SEDATIVES are among the items stolen during a raid on a veterinary practice on the Herefordshire border.
Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating a burglary which occurred at Hafren Vets in Knighton's Ludlow Road sometime between 9.10pm on Sunday, May 23, and 8am on Monday, May 24.
A quantity of animal medication, including antibiotics and sedatives, and a vehicle were stolen. The vehicle is described as a brown Nissan Navara with ‘Hafren Group’ written on the side. The index number of the stolen vehicle is FX66 UER.
DI Andy Evans said “The stolen medication is solely for use on animals and is not in any way suitable for humans to take. I would urge anyone who has been offered the medication to contact police immediately.”
