TWO people have been injured in a crash which closed the A49 near Hereford.
Emergency services were called to the A49 at Grafton, near to the bottom of Callow Hill, to reports of a two-car crash.
West Midlands Ambulance Service, who were at the scene along with officers from West Mercia Police, said it was first called at 8.31pm yesterday evening (Tuesday, May 25).
A spokesperson said two ambulances and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene, and on arrival they found two patients.
"One of whom was a man who had got himself out of the vehicle," they said.
"He was treated for injuries not believed to be serious, but was taken to Hereford County Hospital as a precaution.
"We also treated a woman for minor injuries, and she was discharged at the scene."
The road, which West Mercia Police said was closed, reopened later on Tuesday evening.
