A DRINK-DRIVER has been banned from the roads after crashing and failing to stop.
Nathan May entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard May had failed to stop after hitting another car and causing damage to its passenger side while driving in Grandstand Road on May 14.
The 45-year-old was caught behind the wheel of his Volvo V70 in Hereford's Bath Street that day, and an evidential breath test revealed he had 108 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
May, of Newbury Court, Hereford, was disqualified from driving for 25 months and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work. He was also fined £80 and ordered to pay costs of £135 and a £95 victim surcharge.
