A WOMAN who racially abused and attacked hospital staff and police officers has been jailed for a year.
Natasha Woods pleaded guilty to five charges when she appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 28-year-old had assaulted an hospital staff member by beating and racially or religiously abused two people on May 20.
She had also assaulted two police officers by beating on May 26.
Magistrates said the offences were serious as emergency workers need to be protected from assaults and racial abuse, particularly the highly offensive words used by Woods.
Woods, of Blakemore Close, Hereford, was jailed for 12 months and must pay a £156 victim surcharge.
